Tool inputs and hosting
Color calculations and image extraction run locally in your browser. The image picker does not upload the selected image to our servers. Color values can appear in page URLs and shared links. Requests to load the site and those URLs reach our hosting provider, which can process IP addresses, request URLs, device information and operational logs. Do not include private information in shared URLs or contact messages unnecessarily.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics. It may process cookies, device and browser information, approximate location, and pages visited. These records are not guaranteed to be anonymous. Our code disables advertising consent and Google signals, and does not deliberately send contact-form contents or image files to analytics. Query strings are omitted from the page-view events sent by our code.
You can reject analytics without losing access to color tools. Withdrawing consent disables further analytics collection by this page and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase records already held by Google.
Stored preferences
Your analytics choice is stored in browser localStorage under color-match-analytics-v1. This remains until changed or browser site data is cleared; clearing cookies alone may not remove it. Palette preferences may also be stored locally by the tools.
Advertising
Ad serving is currently paused while the site is being improved. An AdSense account meta tag and ads.txt remain for ownership verification; these do not load ad scripts. This notice and the consent interface will need to reflect the configured advertising services before ad serving is enabled.
Contact messages
Available contact options are listed on the contact page. An email link opens your email application. When online form delivery is configured, the contact page sends the name, email address, subject and message to Formspree only when you submit. A success notice appears only after a successful server response. Messages and replies may be held by the receiving email or form service to handle your inquiry. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; applicable rights depend on your location.
Tool and performance measurements
With analytics consent, successful copy, export, share and contrast-fix actions send the tool name and action type to Google Analytics. Performance measurements include LCP, INP and CLS when the browser supports them. The custom measurement parameters do not include copied payloads, image contents, file names or contact messages. Declining or withdrawing analytics stops these events. Page visits may include the path you opened.
Service providers and retention
Provider logs, analytics records and correspondence are subject to the relevant provider and account retention settings. We do not state a fixed deletion period that the site code cannot enforce. Browser preferences can be deleted by clearing site data. The contact page lists the current availability of support.
