Editorial starting points with role notes and calculated contrast. Open a case, adjust its roles and copy the CSS.
Bright labels and decorative accents
Coral, teal and yellow are accent candidates. Use the measured dark label on each; do not treat the swatches as interchangeable text colors.
A neutral reading interface
Use black or charcoal for reading text and white for the canvas. Mid gray and silver need individual checks for captions and field boundaries.
A warm editorial card
Try the deep blue-green as text and the yellow as a card surface. Reserve orange and coral for accents with independently chosen labels.
A product information panel
Use deep navy against cream for information, then inspect the red action and its label. Orange and yellow should not carry availability meaning alone.
An earth-tone shop card
Use the dark green as product text on cream. Bronze and ochre are accents to test separately for price labels and buttons.
Dark workspace roles
Separate the canvas and card surfaces, use pale body text, and give the light-blue action a dark label. Check secondary text on both surfaces.
Cream, navy and coral
Start with navy text on cream and black on coral. A coral heading on cream is a different pair and may fail normal-text contrast.
Dashboard surfaces and actions
White cards and a near-white canvas need an explicit edge where the boundary matters. Pair the blue action with a measured label.
Lavender portfolio panels
Dark purple can carry the text on a pale panel. Keep the brighter purple as an accent until its text and boundary roles are checked.
Warm product and action roles
Dark brown reads against the warm panel. Test white text on the orange action and preserve clear labels for purchase and stock states.
